The mandator companies of InnoCity are this spring Säräpirtti Oy and Lappeenrannan Ravirata Oy.
Säräpirtti Kippurasarvi
Säräpirtti
Kippurasarvi was founded 1978. Säräpirtti Ltd prepares and sells a regional delicacy,
a mutton roast called Särä. Restaurant Säräpirtti Kippurasarvi is hosted now by
the second generation of the Hietaranta´s family. Säräpirtti Kippurasarvi
serves Särä on its own premises in Lemi and also sells all
delicacies that belong to a traditional Särä meal. In May 2010 we opened Särä
on line shop which will be a target for this assignment.
The purpose of the
assignment is to increase the knowledge about the on line shop and also
increase product sales to customers. The assignment includes all elements that
might have an effect on customer´s interest towards the online shop and its
products.

Lappeenranta trotting race track Ltd
Lappeenranta trotting race track (Lappee) is mainly owned by South
Carelian horse associations and it is a non-profit limited company. The mission
of the company is to develope horse sports and secure horse sports' future in
the South Carelia.
Lappeenranta race track organizes annually 20 races.
The track is located in Uus-Lavola. Around 20 000 spectators are visiting
races every year. The main competition
is “Villinmiehen Tammakilpailu” (this year September 17th). In this
race the best in Finland born 4-year-old warmblooded mares are racing against
each others, and 5-year-old Finnish (coldblooded) mares in their own race.
